I would definitely want to see these teams change their names: Toronto Raptors - Really? My fave team but they were named after Jurassic park...it sounds cool but I think it could be better. Charlotte Bobcats - Can it be more generic? Utah Jazz - I understand the name Jazz is a classic and I personally wouldn't change it but I'd be open to it. Sacramento Kings - There are already kings in Cali and their name is Los Angeles and they play in the NHL. Washington Wizards - Like the nickname but they should be the Bullets especially with their Uni's Memphis Grizzlies - There aren't grizzlies in Memphis and they really should have changed when they came from Vancouver Also give me some suggestions for new names of teams whose name you think can be improved. I like: Toronto Huskies - Old school, and it fits the team and city. Charlotte Flight - It was almost voted the team name when they held a contest, MJ owns the team, it writes itself. Memphis Express - The team was offered 120 million to name the team the express by FEDex because FEDex is one of the cities bigger employers, but the NBA rejected it. Express is better than Grizzlies and the money is cherry pie. Washington Bullets - I get it Bullets are bad,and Abe Pollin hated gun violence but come on it is such an awesome name.
